Join us for the end-of-season cycling celebration that brings together cyclists, families, and the community, all to benefit the Forward Foundation, a nonprofit supporting working single parents in Central Virginia.

About the Ride

A Ride for Cyclists, a Festival for Everyone

The ride offers a choice between a scenic 30- or 50-mile route through the Ashland-area countryside, followed by Forward Fest: a family-friendly, pet-friendly celebration with food, music, vendors, giveaways, and more taking place at Final Gravity Brewing Co. in Lakeside, VA.

• Forward Fest Opens (Stage & Vendors): 11:00 AM
• Ride Course Support Ends: 1:30 PM
• Forward Fest Ends: 3:00 PM

About the Festival

The Festival will Include:

• Local food trucks
• Giveaways, raffles, and outdoor games
• Exhibition/demonstrations - Swingers jump rope crew, Shield N Sheath Hatchet House, Kul Wheels (electric bikes)

Join us for Forward Fest Fun!

From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the community is invited to join us at Forward Fest, a lively, family and pet friendly afterparty open to all, whether you're riding or not.

We Start & Finish At Final Gravity Brewing

Final Gravity Brewing in Lakeside is the area’s most bike-friendly brewery and is the site of two organized rides every Sunday. Once again, they will be brewing the official beer of the Go Forward Together Ride - the Go Forward Pilsner - with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the Forward Foundation. And for those moved by the spirit of community engagement but not partaking in spirits, non-alcoholic options are available at this family-friendly, pet friendly event.
